Our Year 4 children enjoyed a morning of French delights today.

All children had the chance to spend  their French lesson au café St Mary's!

The children entered the café and chose where to sit and waited to be served.

Having studied a menu, they were able to choose from a selection of French food and drink, but they had to ask for their order in French.

They were amazing and spoke really confidently.

The children also had a morning of singing French songs, creating a French menu of their own and they were also able to experience an accordion demonstration, a big thank you to Mr Lewins for this.

A huge thank you to The Costello School and their Year 9 pupils for assisting us too.

A special thank you must also be said to The Street Bakeshop, Waitrose Basingstoke and Tesco Chineham for our amazing food donations.
