Church of England Junior School

Year 6 Winchester Cathedral Leavers Service

St Mary's join Church schools from across the Winchester Diocese to celebrate the end of their time at primary school.

Year 6 enjoyed their visit to Winchester Cathedral today, joining in singing activities and a Leaver's Service for children from across the diocese.

They were astonished to learn they were over 2000 pupils who had visited this week!  They also enjoyed finding the musket holes in the statue of James I and looking at the Anthony Gormley statue in the creepy crypt.  We delivered our own Anthony Gormley inspired figures to join the installation at the Cathedral.
