All three classes of Year 5 children l went to deliver a Christmas card and gift for ALL the children at Old Basing Village Nursery last week. They stayed for a Christmas craft session and helped the children create decorations for the Village Hall’s Christmas tree. 

They may seem all grown up by the time they reach year 5 but there was an awful lot of creative play, dressing up and role play; a real joy to witness! We’re not sure who was more in their element, the younger children or our Year 5 pupils!

Thank you to all the staff at Old Basing Village Nursery for having us visit and we look forward to more joint projects in the future. The local community is really important to us here at St Mary's.
