The first week back has gone incredibly quickly and it has been lovely to see all the children enjoying their learning. Our values at St Mary's underpin everything we do and the value of 'Love' is a key thread that is woven into our teaching centred around Matthew 12:31 "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”  We believe that through our values and by working together as 'One Family' we can achieve more together - focusing on academics, social and emotional wellbeing. 

At the start of this year, all classes looked at our values and focused on the story of The Good Samaritan, alongside a story from the bible. Each class wrote a prayer based on their chosen story and linked it to one of our values:

Hope – Compassion – Curiosity – Perseverance – Respect – Responsibility
