Year 6 pupil, Charlotte, has been awarded a Hampshire Music Service Hub Scholar award. Facing tough competition from across the county, Charlotte impressed the judges with her beautiful flute playing. The hub scholarship is a prestigious award from HMS and shows Charlotte's hard work and dedication. 

Charlotte started playing the flute at St Mary's with our woodwind teacher, Mrs Ludford in year 4 and has made enormous progress having achieved grade 5. She achieved first place in the Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival and performed a solo in a world premiere of a piece of music written for her area wind band, BAYWTO.
