Year 5 Mini Olympics
Year 5 take part in a mini-olympic tournament
As a celebration to the end of our Ancient Greek history and PE learning this term, year 5 held an Olympic tournament. Each class became an Ancient Greek city state, each competitor earning points for their class city state. Each child took part in throwing, jumping, running and wrestling (non-contact tag-rugby style!) events. The Year 5 children demonstrate superb sportsmanship, respect for other athletes and great pride in representing their city state. Well done to all the Olympic competitors.
