St. Mary's responds to the call for aid
In response to the devastating cyclone that hit Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe in southern Africa recently, the St. Mary's family came to school on Thursday 4th April dressed in the national colours of these countries in order to show solidarity and support for the those affected.
As part of our goal at school to help our wider community and to show compassion to others (one of our school values), the School Council decided to help and raise money urgently for the Christian Aid charity.
We are delighted to say that as a school we raised a total of £620 and these desperately-needed funds are already on their way to helping those in need.
Thank you to all children and parents for being so generous with your support.
