Red Nose Day 2019
Our school was filled with red fun again as this year's Red Nose Day extravaganza saw the children dressed in red and, in many cases, painted in red too! In addition, this year there was the opportunity to make a red house made out of Lego and/or a picture of a red house. Many children seized the chance to show off their creative skills!
One of the themes of the day was the recognition that there are people in our country and overseas for whom safe shelter is not guaranteed. Everyone at school is aware of how lucky they are to be able to live in comfort and security and so it was an occasion to show solidarity and understanding with those less fortunate than ourselves.
An amazing total of £500 was raised on the day - thank you to parents and everyone else who helped to make this such a fun and generous day!
