Year 3 had an interesting PE lesson today! As part of their athletics learning, the children practised their standing long jump by becoming jumping animals! The children were given a variety of animal information cards with details of how far the animal is able to jump. They then used a trundle wheel to measure the length of the jump. The aim was to then see how many standing long jumps it would take them to complete the animal's jump.
