Conan Doyle studied "The Girl and the Dinosaur" by Hollie Hughes and Illustrated by Sarah Massini. We looked at how the illustrator laid out the pages, and what extra the pictures gave to the story. We created a dance based on the magical island from the story. Then, through drama, created a conversation between the two silent characters. In art, we recreated the dinosaur skull picture, by using our sketching skills. It was an amazing week. As a bonus, can you guess who the girl was based on?
