Year 6 took part in a webinar session with a live presentation from Katherine Rundell, author of The Explorer (our whole class reading text), Rooftoopers, The Good Thieves and many more exciting titles. We were amazed at Katherine's amazing life stories and the inspirations behind her characters and her writing processes. She shared her experiences of being in the Amazon Rainforest and swimming with pink river dolphins. All of Year 6 were spell-bound by her tales and inspired us to write and engage with the world around us.
