Austen took a trip down to the River Loddon as part of their 'River Deep, Mountain High' topic. We did river dipping, sketched views from the river bank and even got to play Pooh sticks. We loved getting to wade into the river and also have a look at what we found. It was such a great day, some may say the best day!
