On Wednesday, Year 3 got to experience a day like the Romans. They dressed up and spent the day learning Roman numerals, history about how the Romans settled in Britain, how they fought and how they marched as well as lots of history about Boudicca. We did drama based on Boudicca and thought about what a battle would have been like. They focused on their slow motion action and the facial expressions they would have used. It was great fun and the children all had so many best bits to share.
