In Dickens Class, we spent the week studying The Whale by Ethan and Vita Murrow.

As this is a wordless book, we spent a lot of time looking closely at the pictures in order to tell the story. We paid particular attention to the characters facial feelings and body language to infer how they were feeling. We then used drama, writing and art to convey these emotions and added speech to certain parts of the book.
