Year 4 were lucky enough to have a visitor on Wednesday this week. Susie from Inventors and Makers came to talk about inventors, inventions and innovations. Part of the invention process involved the children coming up with problems and generating their own solutions. It was a very creative and open-ended workshop and the pupils really worked well, without too many constraints placed upon them. In English, the children then used their designs to write explanation texts, including how their invention works. We hope your child enjoyed their STEM workshop this week! We love seeing children get creative and excited about something they have made themselves and hope that they have been talking about it with their family and friends.
