On Wednesday 21st November, Year 3 arrived in school to be greeted by an Iron Age Warrior! They spent the day learning more about the Iron Age and what they would have worn, as well as the weapons they would have used and how an Iron Age hill fort helped them to defend themselves. They also looked and touched a range of Iron Age artefacts. The children also spent time designing and creating their own shields and spear tips to use in an Iron Age battle.
